Thermal Management
using Phase Change Materials (PCMs)

NEW !! One-Hour WEBINARS: Introduction to PCMs, Thermal Management of Electronics, Learn More

About this Course

PCM Thermal Solutions in conjunction with MJM Engineering are sponsoring a one-day  workshop that aims to provide an understanding of the issues involved in the thermal management of consumer/industrial products/applications using phase change materials (PCMs) and other heat on demand technologies.

The course covers the principles, design issues, the tools available to the design engineer, etc. Samples of PCMs, supercooled liquids, etc. will be presented at the short course.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed to help engineers and technicians with some thermal background (but new to PCMs) to understand the thermal issues in designing with PCMs and other heat-on-demand technologies. Experienced engineers will also find the course very instructive and useful

What You Will Learn

You will have a good understanding of the heat transfer and fluid mechanics principles affecting proper thermal management using phase change materials and heat on demand technologies. You will also develop techniques that will be useful in the design of these systems. Packaging issues will also be covered. Samples of PCM and its packaging will be shown, examined and discussed during the short course.
